After a hugely successful party last month with Freak'n'Chic's David K 54 are proud to announce that each and every month the infamous red basement will be hosting a Freak'n'Chic Showcase event. Freak'n'Chic is a French Label, run by Dan Ghenacia & David Duriez and has become one of the most highly respected labels of today. we will be launching these very special parties will be none other than Anthony Collins and Djebali so make sure you book your tickets early to save you some pennies on the door and to avoid disappointment, see links below for details.

Young DJ/producer Anthony Collins has proved to be the rising star on the French house and techno scene. In the last year, he has accumulated signings to cutting edge labels. Born to an American father and to a French mother; he grew up both in New York and in the South of France. His first taste for music was given to him by his father who shared his passion for jazz with him and had his own recording studio in Los Angeles. It was in France that he later discovered electronic music and fell in love with it. He acquired his first pair of decks at the age of 17 and did his first gig the following year. He played in most of the major clubs on the French Riviera

To push his career a step further, Anthony left his home ground and moved to Paris. Due to hard work and by forcing his way into the shows that matter, he quickly established himself on the scene and was booked regularly to play at the city’s most prestigious clubs and also abroad in famous clubs Anthony describes his style as a mix of deep house, house, minimal and deep tech. He's not the type who puts one hit record after another but always blends meticulously chosen tracks with a real artistic reason to it. Anthony Collins production skills have reached another level and the quality of his tracks is permanently increasing. Europe’s finest record labels have picked up on it and have been showing a lot of interest.

Being into club music since its tender age, Djebali graced the decks of a club for the first time in 2001 inspired by djs like Dan Ghenacia or Ivan Smagghe. Since then he has been playing alongside D’julz, Chloé, Dan Ghenacia, Guido Schneider, Christian Burkhardt, Dorian Paic, Anthony Collins, Shonky, Davide Squillace, Paul Ritch, Marc Antona, Dirt Crew to name but a few and in key clubs like London’s TBar, Pisa’s Kamakama, Las Palmas’s Velvet, Paris’ Rex Club, Djoon or Batofar as Resident @ Freak n’Chic Summer 2008 Residency.

Recently graduate from the infamous SAE Institute of Paris, he is a qualified sound engineer whose sound turns into deep & groovy house always trying to keep the sunshine on the dance floor. Indeed his references are Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, Samim & Michal, Loco Dice.. Now he is involved in production, it is Jay Haze, totally charmed, who released his first ep in 2008 on Tuning Spork label 2 tracks with an impressive originality and smoothness. Soon after he delivered on Freak n’Chic a 4 tracks EP acclaimed bY some international press. Let’s bet Djebali stands on the right path to success.
